CGiii Comment

Please be warned: this is a truly harrowing journey.

The true pain here is the lack of sentimentality - this is the true face of illness, there will be no tears here.

The intimacy that Chereau shares is, at times, unbearable and desolate - searingly truthful.

Some broken relationships just can't be mended even in the face of catastrophe - a slow agonising catastrophe.

It's not heartless, it's just cold-heartedly true.

Quite, quite remarkable - for its honesty.

Chereau is a truly brave director.

The(ir) Blurb...

Thomas is slowly dying. He has accepted this and has decided to wait for his death on the coast, at the house where he spent his childhood.
