CGiii Comment
Definitely, an oddity from a director who is - strangely - considered a forerunner to the New Queer Cinema movement. Possibly, due to his association and collaboration with Kenneth Anger.
Hopper does not give a virtuoso performance - wooden and flat, just like the writing - accompanied by a seriously hideous soundtrack.
Harrington, truly, had a strange career...a strange legacy.
