CGiii Comment
The Ovarian Psycos have changed their name...because, wait for it, it was disrespectful of-and-to their trans*members...that was how this film was introduced by Xela de la X, the original founder of the disrespectfully named...oh, for Heaven's sake, are we all getting a little too sensitive and petty?!? This pol-cor is getting out-of-hand!
What followed...was not a man-hating, fierce-feminist free-for-all as expected...indeed, quite the opposite. There was no mention of sexuality or trans issues...there were no hairy feminists or hair-raising feminist politics...phew!
Just a group of women, getting together, doing their thing for the community...for each other, for themselves. Supporting when support is needed. Leaning when it all gets a bit too much to bear. Cycling with all the cares in the world. And, it was all rather inspiring.
A most-welcome surprise and a diffidently-made film...the cinematography was pretty damn good and a thumping soundtrack that will make you wanna jiggle in your seat!

The(ir) Blurb...
Single mom Xela, artist Andi, and newcomer Evie are members of Ovarian Psycos -- an unapologetic bicycle crew of young, Latina misfits from Eastside Los Angeles. By the light of the full moon they ride the streets together, seeking sisterhood as protection from the violence in their neighborhoods and broken homes.
