CGiii Comment

This first film version of 'The Children's Hour' - minus the lesbianism.

Adapted by the original writer who watered it down so that it would be more appealing to a middle-class, white American audience.

Now, is this simply hypocrisy?

Whatever - it basically negates its relevance and questions integrity...

Make your own mind up...but, changing something so radically...for money, is a cardinal sin - regardless of the merits of the final film.
