CGiii Comment

Chen has an artistic eye and is able to transmit it onto the screen - this is beautifully filmed.

The pace is slow and very intense which may be its failing for some.

Their loss - with a little editing here and there, Chen would have had a film to be very proud of - here is a very special talent in the making.

His young actors also do him proud - but, it is a fine director that gets fine performances...

An excellent character study and a masterclass in control.
