CGiii Comment

This really is intensely excruciating to watch.

Three scenes played verbatim in different cultural cities...an interesting premise - a variation on Groundhog Day...oh dear.

For a film about life...this is a lifeless dirge.

It's all rather gimmicky - and, as with all gimmicks, the interest wanes too quickly.

Followers of Hartley may enjoy his diffident actors - but, the law of diminishing returns applies - it simply gets worse as it continues.

The(ir) Blurb...

The same situation is played out in different cities (New York, Berlin and Tokyo). A lover has to choose whether to commit to a partner who is returning home. In each case there are other people involved, an ex-partner and someone else in a "permanent" relationship, what do they choose to do?
