CGiii Comment

Much is left unsaid...perhaps, too much is left unexplained...

This is elegant filmmaking...as personal as it is, Mr Ozpetek rarely lets down his guard. Instead, he immerses us into Istanbul's soundscape...amid the ever-changing cityscape.

The cinematography is...formidable. Those aerial shots!!!

As unresolved as it is...this is a mature, dignified film...with moments that will tug at your heartstrings.

We here at CGiii are massive fans of Mr Ozpetek, he consistently delivers...here, he has delivered something a little different, a little more challenging, a trifle disconcerting...and, it - really - is a beautiful thing to watch...and, feel.
