Forget doctor's confidentiality or believable characters...
Marcial Di Fonzo Bo over-acts, making his character a self-centred, extremely annoying and manipulative, egotist.
But, that is the fault of the writing - writing that defiantly ignores any sense of reality.
This is emotional exploitation - you know he's going to die, the tissues are presumed but there will be no tears because the character is so thoroughly odious.
Even the trite (and cheap) sentimentality cannot muster a tear.
To make matters worse - the super-selfish bisexual angle is brought to the fore...yawn.
This is not a sensitive story - it is an assault on the senses, cleverly disguised as an extremely annoying (and unbelievable) love story.
Really rather horrible with ghosts and poetry and overwrought clichés.
Beyond awful.

The(ir) Blurb...
This is a combination coming out and first love story. The swimmer and diver Lucard is interested in attractive Martin. The film follows the characters' coming out with all its difficulties, the bitter-sweet pleasures of first love and the dreadful moment when one comes down to reality and realizes that one's beloved friend has a hard way to go yet. The positive message the film tries to transmit is the somewhat common motto "Live each day of your life as if it were your last."
