Cult cinema even in Europe at the time; public success in theaters, has gone unnoticed over time. It includes bed scenes between two women, daring for their time and involved in controversy for the protagonists, which influenced her artistic career.

Laura is a pianist who leaves her home due to her husband’s mistreatment. She then meets Marta, a magazine and television “vedette”, with whom she will work on preparing new songs for her show. From the moment Laura moves into Marta’s chalet, the neighbours’ gossip begins. Mythical film, Me siento extraña was one of the most successful films of the “destape” periode and the first Spanish film where a lesbian relationship is shown without any kind of cover. Although shortly after the premiere the leading actresses would disown the film – Rocío Durcal, especially -, Bárbara Rey did say in 2010 that she felt proud that this film was now being valued, which, at the time, had been criticised for its homosexual content.
