Where Madge got/stole it all from...clever lady.
Sadly, most who took part are now dead. Horrific times lightened by a bit of glamour!
In its day, it was an enlightening and important documentary albeit a little scrappy. Not entirely convinced that some 'parts' were not scripted!
Even though the ballroom sub-culture has been the topic of a great many films, Paris is Burning will always remain the first and the best...an unpolished gen of a film.
