In the mountains of Georgia a cable-car with just two tiny gondolas provides the lifeline for the small villages on either side of a deep chasm. As young Iva returns to the village, she is hired as the attendant for one of the gondolas. She starts making friends, albeith always just when the gondolas pass, with Nina, the girl attending the other cabin. What starts with a game of delayed-chess soon blossoms into ever more open and hilarious flirting, and eventually love…
