Original Title

Live at the BBC

  • Writer: Simon Amstell

CGiii Comment

The first 40 minutes border on deadpan hilarity...his vulnerability is an asset.

Sadly, it all becomes a little too miserably indulgent - stand-ups should never forget their audience - not only did he lose them, he kind of lost himself.

Stick to the observational stuff - delete everything about being vegan and 'spiritual'.
