Valentine's Day

Country: USA, Language: English, 125 mins

  • Director: Garry Marshall
  • Writer: Katherine Fugate
  • Producer: Samuel J. Brown; Michael Disco

CGiii Comment

Marshall has directed some big films, Fugate has written...crap and the writing here simply continues her trend.

The comedy is remedial and antiquated - simply not good enough to merit the talents of the the huge names involved.

Each of these names all require screen time therefore, nothing develops - and that includes a relationship with the audience - some would say vital for a sure-fire hit.

Marshall must be senile - Fugate definitely sterile - in the writing department.

A sure-fire FLOP.
