In this documentary, a group of trans and non-binary actors share common experiences while pursuing a life-changing role for the Netflix film "Fanfic."
LGBTQIA+ rights in Poland are some of the worst in Europe. Nevertheless, the young actors here exude hope. This inventive documentary gives a voice to a large swathe of transgender and non-binary youth, and their wider families and support networks, who stand up to widespread hostility in a society where legally changing your gender involves suing your parents in court.
