CGiii Comment

Old love never dies - especially in the dark. When two former lovers wake up naked in the middle of an urban blackout, suddenly everything that has been left unspoken demands attention. Is it just a flashback, or a sign that some stories never end?

"What We Said in the Blackout" is a quiet, intimate short film about a deepening connection formed in the dark. When a sudden power outage leaves Ben (Quinn Knox) and Adam (Daniel Bateman, "Sex Love Venice") - two friends who used to date, conversation becomes their only light. What begins as casual small talk slowly deepens into something more revealing. The men share memories, desires, and half-spoken truths they might otherwise keep hidden. Time seems suspended as the blackout stretches on, allowing a fragile intimacy to emerge-one shaped as much by what is said as by what is left unsaid.
