CGiii Comment

Donald Pleasence, like you have never seen him before - and, not likely to ever again. This is a masterclass in how to over-act...and, how to make a complete fool of yourself.

Okay, it's not all Donald's fault...Mr Polanski has to take most of the blame for allowing it to happen in the first place.

This was made after Repulsion and before Rosemary's Bay - in other words, call it a blip in the Polanski's career. Call it what you will...it's a howling disaster of a film.

The(ir) Blurb...

A wounded criminal and his dying partner take refuge at a beachfront castle. The owners of the castle, a meek Englishman and his willful French wife, are initially the unwilling hosts to the criminals. Quickly, however, the relationships between the criminal, the wife, and the Englishman begin to shift in humorous and bizarre fashion.
