On a cloudy day, in a small-town carnival, an unattended three-year-old boy with a small note in his hand is watching the activities from a distance, crying inconsolably. As the years pass by, the same boy, as a part of a travelling circus, he will start a career as an intrepid trapeze acrobat, and before long, he will leave the circus to become a man, starting his own business, ultimately reaching the peak by being the biggest in his trade. Accomplished, married and divorced, with kids, wealth and recognition, the man will one day quit the firm and his current lifestyle and will set out on a solitary voyage of self-awareness, crossing the ocean towards Africa, never to return. There, the most improbable friendship will start, and after two years of being presumed dead, a spark will rekindle, making him see that even if one has done and seen it all, he would be surprised at what life still has to offer.
