CGiii Comment

A bunch of horny gay boys’ journey to a witch’s manor in Normandy. The Deep Queer Massacre is a tribute to the genre, or rather, to the genres to which it refers: there is 80s horror, splatter, the raw and grotesque violence of Joe D'Amato mixed with the deliberate clumsiness and aesthetic-narrative vicissitudes of Troma. An artisanal and powerful film in its almost revolting plasticity, which magnetizes at every viewing, an aesthetic and political declaration of intent on what cinema is: magic, rehash, terror and above all sexuality and desire, in a brilliant and visually feverish mix.
