Black Ocean

Country: France, Language: French, 87 mins

Original Title

Noir océan
  • Director: Marion Hänsel
  • Writer: Marion Hänsel; Hubert Mingarelli
  • Producer: Marc Baschet; Alexander Bohr

CGiii Comment

Despite the fantastic locations, an exceptional event and some fine young actors - Hänsel has squandered an opportunity that most filmmakers would die for...

There is subtext...being boys and all...but, it's just not interesting enough.

A film that goes absolutely nowhere, says nothing and has an unpalatable amount of animal cruelty and littering.

Wasted time.
