Shot by insurgents in an ambush, wounded in a base attack in Fallujah, getting cancer possibly as a result of military service, almost losing a leg in a motorcycle accident but saved by a fellow Marine-these service people tell their stories of pain and triumph, resilience, and on-going healing.
