Winner of the Queer Palm!?!

Nominated for the Iris Prize???

Composed of mostly random [badly-filmed] Super8 footage and accompanied by an all too familiar story that sounds as if it was secretly recorded. It really is becoming a case of once you have seen one Chinese film...you've seen them all. A mother wailing marriage, blaming herself because women don't make her son hard! He actually said that to his mother! No wonder his boyfriend buggered off!

Zero talent and an incredulous amount of praise - an inexplicable, somewhat immoral paradox.

The(ir) Blurb...

As a young Chinese filmmaker returns to his hometown in search for himself, a long due conversation with his mother dives the two of them into a quest for acceptance and love.
