Betty and Jean

Country: United Kingdom, Language: English, 7 mins

  • Director: Elinor Randle

CGiii Comment

A very good idea...sadly, with too many problems.

The opening [dance] scene goes on for far too long and desperately needed to be choreographed. Authenticity could have been achieved is post-production with a filter rather than the obvious over-exposure that is present throughout.

Considering the film is concerned with life's contrasts, there really are no contrasts to be seen.

The dialogue and acting are the stars, it just needed more technicality and imagination...to bring this sad story the life it deserved.
