Miscasting with bad acting - Derek Long being the main culprit (as usual - he who should never act again)...all the actors wrestle with a sub-standard, limping script.

Williams persists in making some of the most insipid gay-themed movies out there.

On a more positive note, this is not his worst effort...but, it certainly is not worth wasting time and/or money on.

Olaf "Gunn" Gunnunderson, an out-and-proud gay college student, crawls back into the closet to survive the holidays with his family. He keeps his cool as his quirky Midwestern-hearted parents try to set him up with his high school sweetheart, Abby. But when his boyfriend, Nathan, shows up at their doorstep unannounced, Gunn must put on a charade to keep the relationship a secret.
