CGiii Comment

Condensing 5 novels into 140 minutes is a Herculean task...this is an epic, beautifully shot production.

And, it all boils down to an unsatisfactory nothing...an expensive, passionless nothing.

Why the director had to cast a woman in a man's role is inexplicable and wholly unconvincing.

Mightily ambitious and a mighty disaster...and, the end is like a deflated tyre.

A monumental letdown.
