It really needed more light and a script editor.

The 'phoney Fanny' line was hysterical!

The(ir) Blurb...

Sir Michael Stewart (David Learner) is an aging actor most known for his role as the pantomime dame, Fanny Coddle. As he approaches his 20th anniversary in the role he decides we won't let it get to that. He is tired of not doing 'legitimate' acting, of not being taken seriously. So he throws away all of his success, gambling it on a new play, one he writes himself. Strongarming his oldest and most loyal friend, James Williams (Douglas Walker) into helping him, together the two navigate balancing a new play and Sir Michael's ego. Young and fresh-faced non-binary actor Julia Price (Mary Higgins) is recruited onto the project and begins to test Sir Michael's directorial patience. The acting generations clash as the older actor is proven to be falling behind the times. Only further illuminated when Sir Michael gives a disastrous interview in attempt to promote the play. With things falling apart Williams attempts to hold it all together, but he has doubts, he's not sure how much longer he will be around.
