CGiii Comment

A belated, affectionate and moving obituary for the artist, Robert De Niro, Sr...by his son.

A troubled man - and, an artist who either refused to evolve or will be forever misunderstood - possibly both. His art is reminiscent of greater works by greater artists...he failed to sustain the initial interest received from the Art World...evolve or die.

The cynics will proclaim an agenda...De Niro's work is never going to sell for millions - so, take this for what it is...a fond memory...of a father by his son.

The(ir) Blurb...

Robert De Niro, Sr., was a celebrated painter obscured by the pop-art movement. His life and career are chronicled in the artist's own words by his contemporaries and, movingly, by his son, the actor Robert De Niro.
