Desperately bad...

If you are going to write dialogue...write it as if real people actually existed in your own little politically demented world - or, was this written as a school film for pupils' enlightenment?

Whatever - it is truly dire.

The(ir) Blurb...

Cross cultural and cross-generational challenges for gays, lesbians, and their parents. Janet wants to marry Cara who's fearful her Chinese parents will reject her if she comes out. Cara's parents are in town for a family wedding. But is fear of her parents' response Cara's only obstacle to commitment? Meanwhile, nearby, Jesse, at 14, has come out to his mom and tofu-cooking step-father the week that his own fun but flaky father, a gay actor, arrives for a rare visit. Jesse's enthusiastic embrace of his dad throws Norman, the step-father, into a crisis of confidence. A cooking lesson, a makeover, and a therapy session where the patient asks pointed questions propel the plot.
