CGiii Comment

Ang Lee is the only reason this is in CGiii - and, what a bleak portrayal of heterosexual life he presents.

His depiction of women is not pleasant - these sisters/daughters are all equally horrific.

The food looks fresh and colourful, the humour is dull and archaic.

This has been showered with praise - inexplicably.

An overly long-drawn out film that leaves you feeling rather unsatisfied.

Nothing happens then suddenly everything happens - with the most ridiculous speed.

It looks good, it would smell great - but, the taste...not so palatable.
