Every year in India, an estimated 125,000 children use the railways to runaway from home for various reasons. While some of them are returned home others survive around platforms enduring a life of abuse, sexual abuse, substance abuse, drug abuse, crime and violence. Railway Children explores the underbelly of this world through the eyes of 12 year old Raju.
