CGiii Comment

By cutting - at least - 40 minutes...a credible film could have been salvaged from this sprawling diatribe.

The version we saw was bizarre...weird, high-pitched dubbed voices coming from masculine mouths...unintentionally hilarious!

Rituparno Ghosh is a one-man bad and curator of the trans genre in India...the international audience are mightily more difficult to please.

Less rambling, more energy and a tight focus on the important strands of the story...then, 2 hours will not drag by...as is the case here.
