CGiii Comment

Through the vehicle of meditation this piece sheds light on anti-Black racism, ableism, misogyny and homophobia through witnessing the experience of body pain. It speaks to the instance of having to sit through oppressive experiences and systems while often not being able to do anything except be aware of what is happening. The piece illustrates this painful process while also discussing resilience embodied through the practice of meditation. It presents it as a tool for healing despite forces beyond ourselves/ our control and comforts us with the reality of constant change.
